Shinji Shishikura
After making his debut at the 1999 "Painting Mozart" exhibition, he began his art career appearing in museums, galleries, stadiums, and on TV programs both domestically and internationally.
In 2020, they were forced to suspend their activities due to the coronavirus pandemic.
I met and lived with a stray cat. Currently, I live with three dogs. Started painting, photography, haiku, and tanka using rescue cats as motifs.
In 2022, an exhibition will be held at UNESCO Paris Headquarters Joan Miro Hall, LA and NY galleries, Tokyo Metropolitan Theater, and Diorama Restaurant.
In 2024, Shinji Shishikura's cat art exhibition will be held in 4 cities in 3 countries at "TOKYO - LA - NY - VENICE - TOKYO" to commemorate his 25th anniversary as an artist!
