Sachiko Midorikawa
I am trying to create a pattern of sparkling things that overflow the world.
I mainly use wax and stencil dyeing methods to dye various things such as wood, Japanese paper, and leather. I would like to deliver surprises and excitement to those who pick it up.
Born in Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture
Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Visual Communication Design
After becoming a freelance independent design company, worked on stage costume dyeing and book cover design.
After studying batik production in Indonesia, based on that technique, after returning to Japan, started activities as HARE-ya.
Currently, dyeing the world of patterns on various materials, mainly wax dying on Geta, stencil dyeing of Japanese paper and book cover drawings.
